The Dental Assistant Online and The Dental Nurse Online learner and assessment resources have been developed by Dr. Teresa Mullins.

Teresa graduated from the University of Queensland with an honours degree in Dentistry in 1977. She was awarded the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Dentistry, also from the University of Queensland, in 1999. A registered dentist, Teresa has worked in both government dental clinics and private dental practices. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and has been a member of the Dental Workforce Committee, ADA Qld branch.

In 1989 she commenced teaching dental auxiliaries and in 1991 wrote the Queensland curriculum and flexible delivery modules for the Certificate in Dental Assisting. She wrote the Queensland syllabus documents for the Certificate 111 in Dental Assisting in 1998.

Since 2000 Teresa has been developing The Dental Assistant Online and The Dental Nurse Online resource materials.  In 2003 Teresa was the dental representative on the Australian National Training Authority's advisory steering committee for the Health Training Package Assessment Project and in 2005 she was the technical writer for the dental qualifications during the review of the Australian Health Training Package.
